Principal Organist

 

 

Morrisville Presbyterian Church seeks a Principal Organist and accompanist for an active, vibrant music ministry.  This position is part-time at 10 - 12 hours a week.  The principal organist plays weekly for one Sunday morning service and accompanies all vocal choirs, instrumentalists and soloists.

 

The sanctuary organ is a 4-Manual, 79 Stop Allen Quantum Digital Organ. The sanctuary piano is a rebuilt 1898 Weber Parlor Grand.  The chapel organ is a year old enhanced Johannus Studio 170 organ.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience playing for worship services, playing solo repertoire, as well as knowledge of choral repertoire and hymnody. Pennsylvania's state criminal history and child abuse clearances are mandatory.
