About the Community

Bucks County, Pennsylvania offers a unique blend of historic charm, vibrant communities, and natural beauty. Located just north of Philadelphia along the Delaware River, the area is known for its walkable boroughs, strong schools, and deep sense of civic and community life. From colonial-era towns and preserved open spaces to thriving arts, cultural, and faith communities, Bucks County balances tradition with thoughtful growth.

Morrisville and its neighboring boroughs—such as Yardley and Lower Makefield—are close-knit, family-friendly communities where relationships matter and neighbors know one another. Residents enjoy access to riverside parks, local shops and restaurants, community events, and an active volunteer spirit. The area is well-connected by rail and road, making it easy to reach Philadelphia, New York City, and the surrounding region, while still offering a slower, more grounded pace of life.

For those called to pastoral leadership, Bucks County provides opportunities for meaningful ministry in a diverse and engaged setting—one where faith communities play an important role in both spiritual formation and everyday life. We hope this page helps you begin to imagine what life and ministry in our corner of Bucks County might look like.
